Hours at these spots often run into the evening, later than a typical coffee shop, and many stay open on weekends when demand is highest in Winston-Salem. Seasonal and limited-time drink or dessert flavors are common, so a shop's current menu can differ from what is posted online; checking recent photos or calling ahead helps. Some locations in North Carolina are dessert-only with no seating, meant for takeout, while others have cafe-style seating for staying a while. Straws for bubble tea are typically wide to accommodate the toppings, and are provided automatically unless you ask for a regular one. Loyalty apps and stamp cards are common at chain locations, and ordering ahead through an app can shorten a wait considerably at busy locations during peak after-school and after-dinner hours.

Hours are published for 7 days a week. The most common schedule is 10 am–6 pm. Hours in the United States do change around federal holidays and long weekends, so a quick call before a special trip is sensible. Winston-Salem is in North Carolina, in the Southeast, where summers are long, hot and humid, winters are mild, and afternoon thunderstorms and the hurricane season from June to November can change plans at short notice. US addresses list the street number and name, then the city, state abbreviation and ZIP code, and Winston-Salem follows the same pattern; a suite or apartment number such as Ste 200 refers to a unit inside the building. The map link on this page shows the exact spot.

Came across them online when I was looking for a matcha whisk and they happen to carry them, he didn't have any in stock, but he had matcha sets. Such a good price and good colors to choose from. I also got some tea to try and I'm super excited! Will definitely start coming here when I'm in the area!

I have been buying tea here for over 20 years, even after we moved out of the area. (Large orders ship free.) I have never found a tea shop with comparable selection or quality, even after moving across three states and four cities. When one of my favorite teas went out of stock (unfortunately the supplier’s warehouse was destroyed in the California wildfires) the shop owner informed me over email and suggested an alternative. Highly recommended for any tea enthusiast.

Normally I never make Google reviews. But I’ll make an exception for a bad experience. I drink tea daily and I like to spend local, so I enjoy frequenting my local tea and coffee shops. Just visited this speciality tea shop because I wanted to learn more about loose leaf teas and tea varieties. Well if you’re a novice, don’t come to this tea shop. You’ll be met by a rude owner, that offers no guidance and answers questions as if it’s an imposition that you could have possibly asked such ridiculous questions. I’m guessing he couldn’t care less about repeat customers. If he’d been kinder and more hospitable, I would have absolutely been a frequent customer, there’s a great selection of goods sold here. The triad is large and diverse, I’ll take my money elsewhere.

I am picky and frequently unimpressed by the luxury goods market. Angelina's Teas is a welcome change. M. Wade Dibbert is the kind of professional you read about. His service is exceptional and his company likewise is welcoming and fun. His store is a trove of carefully selected goods. You can tell he puts thought and care into the products he carries and in the ways they are displayed. His selection of tea is second maybe to China. He has a broad range of economically priced teaware and was kind enough to help me find a replacement for a damaged piece. It's not just tea either. His kitchenware is beyond luxurious, he stocks a number of wines and cheeses, his chocolate selection is divine and the honey he has impressed my honey collecting spouse. Also model cars. The diecast kind. Ten a pop, mostly. It is a joy to step into his establishment and I was delighted to get to make the aquaintance of someone like him. I am excited to return and his company and care helped turn a difficult day around. Thank you Mr. Dibbert, I've missed good lapsang.

Edit: I already left a positive review but I wanted to leave a second one because Wade is awesome. I decided to make an Angelina's run after work to stock up because of the tariffs and I couldn't make it until 15 minutes before closing (I know) and Wade was helpful, recommended me some shengs (I asked) and told me their backstories, and had a long conversation with me about tea and life. Great guy with great tea! (Great prices, too, which I appreciate more every time I visit other tea shops) First review: I first came here as a non-tea enthusiast because my tea enthusiast friend wanted to come. Angelina's very quickly turned me into a tea enthusiast & now I can appreciate how fortunate Winston-Salem is to have their tea selection! The owner is very nice and helpful. I'm surprised by the reviews saying he was rude, I've experienced his sarcasm and always taken it as lighthearted and funny.
